Hluboka was originally a 13th-century Gothic castle, but it was completely rebuilt in the 19th century in the style of the English Windsor Castle. This transformation was commissioned by the Schwarzenberg family — one of the most influential noble houses in Central Europe.
The result? A romantic, white-stone dream rising above the Vltava river. With 140 rooms and 11 towers, it’s a place built not just for defense, but for style, prestige, and charm. And despite its royal look, it welcomes everyone.
